To exercise and workout is a natural way to build muscles and maintain good health. While some of our fitness goals may be different, steroids has never been a healthy way to build strength. While athletes and bodybuilders may seek an illegal way to gain an advantage, the backlash that comes from the public along with the possible negative long term effects does not make it worth taking.
What is steroids
First off we must recognize that there are two different kinds of steroids. There are Corticosteroids and the more known Androgenic/Anabolic Steroids. Corticosteroids are produced in the adrenal gland located above the kidney. Corticosteroids are produced in medications such as prednisone, prednisolone, and dexamethasone to treat diseases like asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and systemic lupus erythematosus, along with many others in which inflammation is a part of the health risk.
Androgenic/Anabolic steroids are hormones made in the body to regulate the manufacture of testosterone in the testicles and ovaries. Anabolic and androgenic steroids are available as prescription medications to be used in cases in which the body does not produce enough testesterone. Some hormone supplements in this field include growth hormone and testosterone itself. These medications are legally prescribed by health-care providers, but this group of drugs is often used illegally and abused to help increase athletic performance and improve body appearance. When used by a healthy person, anabolic steroids will cause weight gain primarily due to an increase in muscle mass.
While anabolic steroids may have beneficial effects when taken under medical supervision, they have many serious and sometimes irreversible side effects. These side effects are due to abnormally high levels of testosterone in the body and may include high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels, liver damage, heart failure, acne, baldness, as well as aggressive and violent behavior.
There are a variety of common anabolic steroids. Some mimic the actions of testosterone directly, while others cause the body to produce excess testosterone by interfering with the normal hormone regulation system in the body.
Healthy Steroid Alternatives
While achieving peak physical fitness may be a priority, there are sources that can provide the same effect of steroids without causing the negative health effects that comes with taking anabolic steroids.
Venabol is a natural alternative that is formulated to produce a similar effect to the popular steroid Dianabol.
Dianabol is the most popular oral steroid to ever be used. Drugs like Dianabol have been banned in the United States. However, there are manufacturers in other places in the world that still produce the drug. Dianabol is the primary off-season bulking steroid used currently.
Trenoven is a natural alternative that is designed for the user to obtain similar effects of the popular steroid Trenbolone.
Despite the drug being prohibited, Trenbolone continues to be popular in the bodybuilding industry. For as long as you are taking Trenbolone, you may have to deal with increased acne. Paired with acne is having oily skin. In addition, beware of prostate enlargement.
Anadroxin is a natural aleternative that aims to replicate the effects of the popular steroid Anadrol.
While the FDA cracked down on many of the more dangerous drugs out there, a group of relatively safe performance enhancing drugs are still sold. Anadrol is like any other drug and testosterone supplement in that bad things will happen if you take too much of it. Anadrol has been changed on a molecular level to ensure that it can pass through oral consumption and survive to where it needs to get. While this is a major benefit for taking the drug effectively, it also puts a lot of pressure on your liver.
Clenbulen is a natural alternative that is researched and developed to replicate the effects of the popular steroid Clenbuterol.
When Clenbuterol was first created, it found major use as a way to treat asthma and other breathing disorders. There are several other medications that do similar things and are closely related without the same level of side effects which is why it has not met FDA approval.
I did not realize that steroids was still a big thing. I have been hearing about it for years, but I thought it was rare these days.
How did the use of steroids come to be? What is in the ‘natural’ steroids that mimics the effect?
This is fascinating to me!
Of course the use came to be for individuals looking to have an advantage over an opponent. Although the use of steroids have been cracked down in most sports, many bodybuilders and pro wrestlers still abuse steroids.
Thank you for your information, very informative and is an eye-opener.
I head steroid is very bad for people and ones you stop using it you gate smaller than the way you were before.
Is this true?
And if it is true, what is the motive behind people keep on using it.
Anything we put in our system should be natural and pure. the motive is simple. People can be lazy and instead of striving and working towards your goal you pick a faster way to get it accomplished.
As a sports fan I know a lot more about steroid abuse than I should. It makes me wonder about the long term effects. Do you think it has anything to do with the CTE concussion stuff? I kind of wondered as I live in western PA and so many players from the 1970’s Steeler teams have died in really ugly ways. Abusing your body to earn money or fame is way to common.
I don’t really understand your question. This is about altenatives to using steroids.
I like this article. While I haven’t tried these alternatives, if I were an elite athlete or bodybuilder, I’d definitely be reaching for them rather than the harmful stuff that’s been known to cause all kinds of issues – just think of how many bodybuilders died young due to steroid abuse – Dallas McCarver is the first that comes to mind. Anything natural would always be a better route to go than lab created products that have known and detrimental side effects, which is why I never considered taking steroids. Glad to see some alternatives, though.
The fact that i have come to learn something tangible from this post is satisfying. The make of your website is nice and the simplicity of the color selection makes it beautiful. i was surprised when i saw the article. i could not think of a person who would still want to use steroids. well you have given some tangible information here
Thankyou I am glad you enjoyed the site and the content. Have a good day.
