In researching Modere, there is a chance that a family member or friend has approached you about an amazing business opportunity to earn money marketing health and wellness products.
The fact of the matter is that you have been presented with this opportunity by someone you know because the best chance to earn an income within Modere stems from recruiting others to join. I will not label Modere as a scam since it is possible to make an income from selling the products they offer, but most, if not all MLM companies are labeled as pyramid schemes due to their recruiting business practices.
To know whether or not this business opportunity is right for you, this post will provide full details on Modere and all it has to offer. I must share the fact that I am in no way associated with the company and I am in a position to share this review with you because I have past experience with another MLM company called World Ventures.
As I have strived to make a passive income in the past within that MLM company and other past business failures, I have found success with internet marketing which is the best way to go about marketing products in general.
MLM companies teach members to market to friends, family, and everyone you come across to join or buy your products.
It’s a known fact that there is a low success rate for members within Multi-Level Marketing Businesses and if you consider joining it would be in your best interest to learn everything you can regarding marketing online to reach a wider audience instead of being limited to the people in your circle.
If you want to learn how to make money online for the best chance of establishing a passive income and live a more free lifestyle, subscribe and get weekly content and a 7-day course for making money online.
Ok now lets get to the review of Modere and see if it’s the right opportunity for you.
Modere Review
Modere’s history dates back to 1987 when it was originally called “Images and Altitude.
It rebranded to Neways in 1992 until being acquired by the same company that took Herbalife public in 2006. Finally, it was acquired by another group and became Modere in 2012.
Membership
It costs $49.99 to become a Social Marketer, but you will also have to invest in their business pack if you want to promote their brand and make money.
You have the option to select one of 3 “business packs” that comes with a range of products at a reduced price. Business pack options are detailed below.
- Basic- $199.99
- Plus- $499.99
- Ultimate- $699.99
There are also additional monthly costs that will set you back either $99.99 or $149.99 per month.
Compensation
MLM companies usually have a comp plan that is complex and hard to explain. Modere is no different in that regards so for an understanding of how confusing it is you can check out the video below.
When it comes down to earning with Network Marketing companies, the only thing you need to know is to recruit and sell their products.
Pros
- History of being in business
- Social media training and replica website
- Eco-friendly products
Most Multi-Level Marketing Companies succumb over time due to continuous lawsuits being filed against them. It is no secret that business practices from the majority of MLMS can be misleading and most of the people that join these companies will lose money.
While there might be stability as far as the risk of joining a business that will not shut down in the future, the chance of it providing a stable income is slim.
Modere does provide some basic social media training and a “replica website” (like most MLMs do).
However, it’s important to realize that their training and what you will learn at Modere really depends on your team and your “upline”. If you join with people that know what they are doing (not just seem to know) you can learn some great online marketing skills.
The truth is, finding people that are successful with Modere is rare and the replica website is useless if their training does not teach you how to drive traffic there.
For those that are conscious about the environment and the future of the world we live in, the Modere brand stands for eco-friendliness, not just in its products, but also in its manufacturing processes. It is also committed to not using harmful and unnecessary ingredients.
Cons
- Overpriced Products
- Hidden Monthly Fees
- Low Success Rate
When an MLM company sells products that are overpriced and the quality is similar to or worse than other products on the market…
You may want to think twice before joining as your only true opportunity to earn will be from recruiting others to join.
Their multivitamins are over 10 times the price of a very highly rated Multivitamin AND protein shake available on Amazon. Further proof is provided in the price comparison of Multivitamins in the image below.
As you can see Modere multivitamins cost $30.99 for a 60 count while the popular Centrum offers 200 at a fraction of the cost. Breaking it down further, the price per a pill for Modere is around $1.94 and Centrum is around 15 cents per a pill.
If you are wondering if Modere’s multivitamins offer better quality, you can check out the comparison of ingredients between the two below.
The additional monthly costs mentioned earlier equates to a sales quota of $150 a month that is necessary to keep your membership active.
When it comes down to earning with Modere, an Income disclosure in 2017 details how only 1 in 149 distributors made over 30K a year which is not the kind of money you want to live off.
Conclusion
Modere is one of the better MLMs to consider joining since they been around for so long, but I would not recommend this business opportunity if you are an inexperienced marketer.
There are plenty of opportunities to make an income online which will require less work and can eventually replace your day job. For a chance to make a passive income to change your life for the better…
